The goal of the Department of Spanish Language and Literature is to train students to become effective teachers and scholars of Hispanic linguistics and literature. The program prepares students in a range of critical and methodological approaches to the study of linguistics, literature and culture in Spain and Latin America.
The Department aims at cultivating students to become members of the international society through cultural studies and enabling them to acquire profound and professional knowledge in each major by studying Spanish in the fields of Hispanic linguistics and literature.
