The Interdisciplinary Major EML (Emerging Market and Latin America) is a degree program which opened in the first semester of 2014 in collaboration with the Division of International Studies, and the departments of business administration, history, political science and international relations, and Spanish language and literature. As the strategical importance of the Latin American region has increased, the program has aimed to nurture intellectuals with a field-based knowledge of the politics, economy, society, history, culture and language of the Latin American region.
